What should be the settings of Internet Explorer & Other messengers?
If your are using public computers like Cyber Cafe, then you must be careful about different settings of your internet browser. First of all you should check if the data entered by you is being saved in the computer or not. These data should not get saved. To check this, goto: Tool --> Internet Option --> Content --> Auto Complete. Uncheck all the boxes and then click on OK. Now your data will not be saved in the computer.

Another important thing we have observed is that while submitting username & password on the web, we get an box to remember username and password. Please do not forget to uncheck the box. If you keep on checking the box, the next visitors may get into your password protected area just by typing the web address, you visited.

I have received an email from my banker to confirm my personal details. What should I do now?
First of all, if you through any bank's site you will find that they never ask for your personal details through e-mail. So, receiving such mail is definitely doubtful and you should not act on it. Better you give information of that particular mail to your banker, so that they can take steps to prevent theft of your personal bank data.

There are lots of things to follow for safe browsing. Some are discussed below.
(a) Do not disclose your real name and address to the person , you don't know.
(b) Do not trust any person whom you met online.

No, you are not safe. It is advisable to log out from your e-mail before leaving computer while you are using a public computer like Cyber Cafe. Because some e-mails keep logged in with the help of cookies.

Can I take printouts from the client computers?
Yes, you can take the printouts directly from the client computers, you are using. If you are going to take the printout of a webpage, please check the preview first. If it is OK, then then check the number of pages you want to get printed. If all the pages are not required, then select the pages as per your requirement. Be careful while giving the print command. Because once the print command is given, the same can not be cancelled and whole charge will have to be borne by you.

Yes, you can use your pen drive in our Cyber Cafe. In the event, your Pen Drive is not detected by the machine please call the operator for assistance.

Thank you for visiting our cafe. We provide web cam to our visitors. But we don't keep the web cams fitted with the terminals. In case you need a web cam, please call the operator, he will provide you the web cam.

Sure, you can use your Laptop in our cafe. We use static IP, so we will configure your Laptop with a specific IP and install a small software. Now your Laptop is ready to be used in our Cafe network. Insert the RJ-45 connector provided to you in the LAN port and access internet in your Laptop.

Usually, it is user's duty to log out from his / her account before leaving the computer to avoid mis use of his / her account. In the event any one forgets to log out, the operator will log him / her out from the session as soon as he notices that. Amount will be charged for the whole time the account remains logged in.
